چکیده

Abstract Background Dietary components can influence the effects of genetic background in breast cancer (BC). This review study aimed to investigate effect dietary on expression level BC-related genes. Methods In this narrative review, Embase, PubMed, PsycInfo, and Cochrane databases were used collect related papers with interactions BC, genetics, intake. Appropriate keywords such as gene expression, mutation, nutrient, diet (alone together) applied for data collection. Results The association BC some genes including BC1 ( BRCA1 ), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 HER2 fat mass obesity-associated FTO ) be affected by components. Moderate B12 supplementation may protective against people inherited mutation BRCA . olive oil have a through several mechanisms suppressing HER-2 expression. Furthermore, high glycemic index foods increase risk activation phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/AKT) pathway up-regulation Conclusion There are between genes, macronutrients, micronutrients, phytochemicals regulate Further longitudinal studies needed confirm associations discover underlying mechanisms.

Expression of Some Genes Involved in Epigenetic in Breast Cancer Cell Lines: The Effect of Quercetin

Background & Objectives: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women. Incorrect pattern of gene expression involved in epigenetic including APOBEC3B, DNMT-1, and TET-1 can develop breast cancer. Quercetin is a natural flavonoid with antioxidant and anti-cancer properties that have been reported in other studies. To investigate the effect mechanism of quercetin, this study examin...

piwil2 and pl2l60 (cancer/testis genes) expression in breast cancer

background: cancer/testis antigens (ctas) are members of a group of proteins which are normally expressed in testis germ cells and to a lesser extent in the ovaries. because of recent reports about their aberrant and specific expression in some tumoral tissues, they may play a role as new candidates for targeted therapy. therefore, the study of the expression pattern of these biomarkers and its...

Identification of Prognostic Genes in Her2-enriched Breast Cancer by Gene Co-Expression Net-work Analysis

Introduction: HER2-enriched subtype of breast cancer has a worse prognosis than luminal subtypes. Recently, the discovery of targeted therapies in other groups of breast cancer has increased patient survival. The aim of this study was to identify genes that affect the overall survival of this group of patients based on a systems biology approach. Methods: Gene expression data and clinical infor...
